Half Truth

I received a SMS from my brother;
"All conflict is due to lies? Truth does not have conflict."

Apalagi ler masalah abang saya ni. So I replied;
"Half truth can also cause conflict"

No reply. He didn't call me either. Mujur pun sbb saya tengah sibuk prepare lunch masa tu.

Let us look into the issue. Selalu nya konflik timbul bila ada orang yang tidak bercakap benar atau bercakap separuh benar i.e half truth.

What is the other half? It is either lies or ugly truth. Or only half the story...citer tak habis ler tu! (There is always 2 sides of the story anyway). Kalau kita dengar citer macam ni yang akan jadi masalah sebab kita boleh salah faham (misunderstood), salah anggap (misjudge) atau yang paling teruk beri salah penyelesaian (wrong solution).

Sebenarnya "ugly truth" tu yang paling kita tak sanggup. Kita tak boleh terima hakikat yang lagi separuh itu adalah kesalahan atau kesilapan kita. Kalau kita yang salah bermakna...kita yang kena berubah, bukan orang lain. As the saying goes; change is good but you first!

My principle is simple; tell the whole truth nothing but truth or don't tell anything at all!

So I can stay out of trouble and be happy :)
