Cash or Credit?

Salam,

Hari tu kan...TV akak kan dah rosak. Jadi kena lah beli TV baru kan. Sebelum sampai kedai, akak dah pasang niat. Nawaitu nya budget dalam RMXX gitu. Tapi bila sampai kedai...salesman cina tu punya lah pandai. Dia tunjuk TV 46" LCD Panel, 3D. Bila akak kata..you memang pandai ya, dia kata dia memang pandai sebab dia trained salesman! Sabor jer lah.... siap guna blu-ray decoder lagi nak tunjuk betapa 3D nya gambar. Perghhh....akak punya iman bergegarlah jugak! Tapi tengok harga luruh jantunglah pulak...

Mr. Hubby dan Amirah mmg tergoda. Namun akak ni tetap teguh kan iman. Hubby tanya camner, akak kata; I can survive even without the TV. Kesian kat dia jer sebab nak main PS3 dia tu. TV lama yang gedabak ada kat rumah mmg tak compatible pulak. Akhir nya we settled for size 40". Tapi budget tu burst lah sket.

Then came the second question; cash or credit? Hubby kata we pay by credit zero interest for 12 or 24 months. Saya kata cash. We couldn't agree on this issue. Since the stock was not available at that moment, we decided to sleep over the issue.

The next day, Mr. Hubby still refused to part with his cash. Then, I told him my concern. He remained silence. Later, when the TV arrived...he paid all in cash! Hehehe.... menang jugak saya akhir nya! :)

Menang atau kalah bukan isu nya, tapi nak berhutang atau tak nak berhutang saja. Theoretically, we should enjoy zero interest. Tapi kali ni...saya rasa cukup2 lah hutang tu. It is choking me to see the credit card balance. I just want a debt free life as much as possible.

Life is short...apa nak jawab kat Tuhan nanti weh!
